Welcome everyone to my new site. Let me tell you how this got started.
Last night my fiance and I had a long talk. He had been browsing the internet for a long time looking at all the fairy art he could find. Then he brought me in here to the computer and said, "Why aren't you selling your fairies? I think you are just as good as these other artist, and look at what their doing." So I thought about it. I always get people telling me to quite my day job and sell my art. I've been bugged numerous times to rent a booth at the ren fair to sell my fairy art. Perhaps it is time for me to seriously try and sell my original fantasy and fairy art. I'll give it a shot.
I chose the title Fairy Portraits, because my fairies are pretty simple, yet detailed in their own way. I don't have highly decorative backgrounds, because I just can't do them. I've tried many times to put forth a decent building or tree, even a wall with a window and it just never works for me. So, I will do portraits. Simple, yet elegant fairies, mermaids and fantasy creatures alike. I'm really glad you are reading this journal. Please take the time to tell a few of your friends.
